A. Author Guidelines

1. Manuscript Types

Animal Health (AH) accepts the following manuscript types:

  • Original Research Articles
  • Review Articles
  • Case Reports / Case Studies
  • Field and Epidemiological Studies
  • Short Communications
  • Scholarly Commentaries

2. Formatting and Word Limits

  • Language: English (British or American, must be consistent)
  • Word Limit: Maximum 6,000 words (excluding references)
  • Title: Maximum 50 words, bold, centered, Times New Roman (14 pt)
  • Font: Times New Roman (12 pt)
  • Abstract: Maximum 300 words
  • Reference Style: Vancouver
  • Layout: Single column, single spacing

3. Manuscript Structure

3.1 Title
  • Clear and concise (max. 50 words)
  • Bold and centered
3.2 Author Information
  • Full names of all authors
  • Affiliations (institution, country)
  • Corresponding author email
  • ORCID ID (recommended)
3.3 Abstract
  • Maximum 300 words
  • Structured: Background, Methods, Results, Conclusion
3.4 Keywords
  • 3–6 keywords
3.5 Introduction
  • Background and rationale
  • Research objectives
3.6 Materials and Methods
  • Study design and procedures
  • Animal species and ethical approval
  • Statistical analysis
3.7 Results
  • Present findings clearly
  • Use tables and figures
  • Avoid interpretation
3.8 Discussion
  • Interpret findings
  • Compare with literature
  • Highlight significance and limitations
3.9 Conclusion
  • Summarize key findings
  • Highlight contribution to animal health
3.10 References
  • Vancouver style
  • Numbered citations [1]
  • Use reference managers (Mendeley, EndNote)

4. Figures and Tables

  • High quality (minimum 300 dpi)
  • Insert near first citation
  • Editable formats preferred
  • Formats: JPEG, PNG

5. Cover Letter

  • Manuscript title and significance
  • Statement of originality
  • Confirmation of exclusive submission
  • Conflict of interest disclosure

6. Acknowledgments

Include only scientific, technical, or financial support.

7. Conflict of Interest

If none:

“The authors declare no conflicts of interest.”

8. Ethical Requirements

  • Compliance with international standards
  • Ethical approval for animal studies
  • Disclosure of funding sources
